Lock a file on your own device. Only the people you choose can open it.
Not even VOIMAR. FileLock locks files before they leave your phone or computer, so a lost phone, a hacked mailbox or a breached server shows nothing readable.
Keys belong to you
- Your private key and your secret phrase stay on your device. VOIMAR never receives them and can't unlock your files.
- VOIMAR stores only locked files and public keys. A file that is not locked is refused.
- FileLock uses OpenPGP, the open standard behind free GPG. Any OpenPGP program opens a FileLock file: no lock-in.
- If you lose your key or forget your phrase, nobody can open your locked files. FileLock gives you a Backup card at setup.
Prefer desktop GPG?
FileLock is a VOIMAR central module: standard in vKOM-SECURE and vKONNECTOR, optional for GYTE, KESHO and HEITA. Questions: gpg@voimar.co.za.
